Design History explores the evolution of design from pre-history to the modern era, encouraging me to engage with material culture and its impact. I examined how social trends, historical events, technology, architecture, and art shape contemporary design. Through lectures, visual examples, workshops, and research, I studied printed media, typography, interior, graphic, and fashion design. The course coverd key topics like 20th Century Design, Design in America, BIPOC and under-represented designers, and the earliest makers.
